Automotive vibration damping and muffler pad is an accessory used in automotive braking system to reduce or eliminate braking noise. It is a key component of automobile brake pads and is fixed on the steel backing of brake pads. When the brake pads are braking, it plays a certain role in damping and muffling the vibration and noise generated by the brake pads. Automobile brake system mainly consists of friction lining (friction material), steel backing (metal part) and vibration damping and noise elimination pads.

Silencing mechanism: Brake noise originates from the friction vibration between the friction lining and the brake disk. Sound waves undergo an intensity change when they travel from the friction lining to the steel backing, and another intensity change when they travel from the steel backing to the damping pad. The difference in phase impedance between the layers and the avoidance of resonance can effectively reduce noise.

Products Feature

The thickness of the metal substrate ranges from 0.2mm - 0.8mm with a maximum width of 1000mm and the thickness of the rubber coating ranges from 0.02mm - 0.12mm. Single and double sided NBR rubber coated metal materials are available to meet the diverse needs of different customers. It has excellent vibration and noise damping properties and is a cost-effective alternative to imported materials.

The surface of the material has been treated with anti-scratch treatment, which has high scratch resistance, and the surface color can be customized according to customers' requirements in red, blue, silver and other colorfast colors. According to customers' requirements, we can also produce cloth-coated panels without any texture.
